My sound
Starting as just an “elective”, middle school band quickly became a pivotal point in Pritish’s musical journey. Having started jazz in Gunhild Carling’s band, Pritish sought mentorship from other legends including Evan Christopher, Ken Peplowski, & Dan Levinson.
He studied Jazz & Psychology @ University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Since then, he has performed at 20+ venues in the San Francisco Bay Area.
His current & previous musical endeavors include a San Jose Jazz Fund winning co-led band with his brother Manav, Silver Bell Jazz Band, Capital Focus Jazz Band, The UMBC Jazz Ensemble, the Carling’s Darlings led by Gunhild Carling, & more.
